How the club began
Four milestones. Five years of service. One community that refuses to stop growing.
The Origin
A small group of Sri Shakthi students sat down with no budget, no blueprint, and no guarantee of success. With the support of the Rotary Club of Coimbatore West, they chartered the club — one charter, and one stubborn belief that students could create real change.
First Real Impact
Organized our first large-scale marathon in collaboration with Decathlon, bringing together 200+ participants to promote fitness and an active lifestyle. The event also served a greater purpose by raising funds to purchase essential equipment for children with intellectual disabilities, demonstrating the power of community and collective action.
District Recognition
Recognized by RI District 3206 with multiple awards for outstanding service over the years — honoring the dedication behind every late-night meeting, weekend initiative, and every member who stepped up when it mattered most.
Half a Decade Onward
Over 5,000 lives touched, 5+ years of impact, and 190+ completed projects — a legacy that continues to grow, inspiring new generations to carry the vision forward.
